We use third party vendors to provide the infrastructure necessary to run Dumper, including Amazon S3. We'll do everything we can to keep our service running smoothly, but we can be affected by external problems.
Let's be honest – terrible things happen. In our case, the worst of the worst is our own data loss. Amazon S3 guarantees eleven nines durability, but strictly speaking it's not equal to 100%. If you need more safety, have multiple layers of redundancy besides Dumper.
In an event of data loss, our liability to you will be limited to the amounts you paid to Dumper in the three months immediately preceding the incident.
We filter out all passwords from our logs. Your account passwords are hashed in an irreversible manner. Database passwords are not stored on our server for Rails servers, or stored in an AES encrypted format for fetch servers. We only receive the last 4 digits of your credit card number. We use SSL to transmit sensitive information. All software is updated regularly to ensure the latest security patches.
It's always awkward when we say we don't sell the personal information of our customers. Isn't it obvious? But let us be clear: we don't.
You can contact us anytime you want. Just drop us an e-mail at . Make sure you follow us on Twitter, so you can get the latest info about Dumper.
